Our new location in Rafz

After weeks of meticulous planning of all the necessary relocation preparations and dismantling measures in Dietikon and the energetic commitment of the entire F & S team during the "Züglete", the business activities of Färber & Schmid AG were able to start on schedule on 2 May 2023 in the new, state-of-the-art company headquarters in Rafz! Once again, we would like to thank everyone involved for their hard work. We also want to thank our external partners for getting everything done in a timely and professional manner.

After a period of reorganisation and settling in, the new environment now feels as if it had never been different. This is probably the best proof of an extremely coherent concept, in which the experiences and optimisation requests from the previous sites have been fully incorporated.

The significantly increased efficiency of logistics and production, the close proximity of production to the spacious and modern laboratory, and the ergonomically designed offices with a new IT environment are all features of our new working environment that deserve special mention. The bright and spacious break and canteen area, with a beautiful outdoor terrace and a view of the idyllic surroundings of the beautiful Rafzerfeld, offers the best possible balance to our daily tasks and challenges.

With a significant reduction in truck traffic, a powerful photovoltaic system and a connection to the local woodchip district heating network, we have also laid a solid foundation for further steps towards sustainable environmental protection and significant CO2 reduction. This is in keeping with our traditional claim and, to a certain extent, our DNA for developing environmentally friendly products and processes.
