DMF has almost no well-functioning alternatives. That is why this solvent is still used for cleaning the laminating rollers in the laminating industry. Since DMF is classified both as acutely toxic and toxic for reproduction, the user faces the problem of protecting their employees and the environment.

Together with a user and a renowned supplier of textile industry products, Farber & Schmid have developed a high-performance solution for cleaning the laminating rollers. Adhesives used in the laminating technology are often exposed to very high thermal stresses. This causes very tenacious dirt on them that even gets baked on. The customer was looking for a user-friendly product with which it would be possible to solve and remove this dirt even at room temperature.

SOLVETAN is a cleaner specially developed for this purpose. It completely fulfils these requirements and convinced the customer after extensive tests in practice.

Since then SOLVETAN has been used not only for cleaning the flame laminating rollers, but also for removal of liquid polyurethane adhesives in daily production processes.
